Sunday 2nd November 2008 Arctic Wolf 1 Day pastel on velour Workshop £50.00
Winter is on its way, and this workshop will leave you wanting for snow. Aside from black fur, white fur is probably the most difficult to paint. Here you will learn the correct colours and tones to paint the gorgeous white fur of an Arctic Wolf, together with a complimentary background of snow, and how to achieve shadows in the snow.

Sunday 16th November 2008 Tiger Cub 1 Day pastel on velour Workshop £50.00
Baby animals are both adorable and a joy to paint. One of the most endearing of these is the tiger cub, and what better medium to create those gorgeous soft textures, than pastel on velour paper. This one is bound to get you the 'aah' factor when you show it to your friends and family.

Sunday 30th November 2008 Shire horse 1 Day pastel on velour Workshop £50.00
Following on from the very successful Arabian horse workshop, is this workshop where you will learn the techniques used to paint the varied textures of a horse, from mane to muscle. The shire horse has to be one of this country's favourites - big, bold and strong - very suitable for pastels.

Monday 1st December 2008 1 Day 'Workshop with Wolves' £80.00 (£40 deposit required)
Join Vic for a wild encounter with a difference. Spend the day at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust, where your day will begin with a talk about wolves, the Trust and what they do to support wolf conservation. Then, a rare chance to meet and photograph the wolves at close range - the first of two photographic sessions, which will enable you to observe and gather some great reference material for your own future paintings.
Leading up to lunch, follow Vic's expert tuition and guidance to begin your own pastel painting of one of the Trust's own wolves. No need to worry if you are unsure of your drawing skills, as the velour paper has a 'pencil' outline pre-printed onto it, so all you need to do is concentrate on the pastel painting. At lunchtime, there will be a chance to browse the shop to purchase souveniers of the truly unique day, or just listen to the wolves howling. After lunch, there will be the second photographic session, after which you will complete your pastel painting ready to take home and frame. All materials and refreshments (except lunch) are included, we advise attendees to bring a pack-up lunch.
Please wear sensible footwear and bring warm clothes - the wolves won't need it! 40% from the workshop will be donated directly to UK WCT, to help support wolf conservation projects in Europe, so you will be helping a good cause as well as having fun!

Sunday 7th December 2008 Lynx 1 Day pastel on velour Workshop £50.00
The Lynx is an extremely pretty cat, with those ear tufts and piercing eyes. This workshop will show you how to paint the rich fur texture, and how to achieve the glossy, realistic eyes, which are so important to create a lifelike animal portrait.

Sunday 14th December 2008 Panda 1 Day pastel on velour Workshop £50.00
One of the world's most endangered species, and a symbol of conservation worldwide, the panda has been the subject of many wildlife paintings, but rarely in pastel on velour. This is a shame, as the medium is perfect for both the soft fur and the texture of the bamboo shoots, which are synonymous with this magnificent, elusive animal
