The Society for all Artists have worked closely with Vic to create his own range of black Indian Ink.

Traditionally used for writing and printing, in recent times Indian Ink has been used for drawing and painting - and often with stunning results!

This ink is a black, permanent ink made from fine soot called 'lampblack' combined with a binding agent called shellac, which makes it very durable when dry.

A staple for any sketch, it's also equally stunning when used with a brush and diluted with distilled water to create lovely soft tonal paintings with subtle nuances.

Vic says "It is a perfect medium for painting cats of all kinds and not just black cats!"

It can also be used with steel nibbed pens and airbrushes. Stir well before use. Wash applicators immediately after use with water.
