Vic's brand new book, Dark Angels, was released on the 24th November 2016.

SYNOPSIS:
Dark Angels is a celebration of Gothic art and verse. 

Drawing on inspiration from poets such as Byron, Shelley, 
Tennyson and others, Vic Bearcroft has created 
a series of ink illustrations in each of which the role 
of ‘Dark Angel’ is played by his own black cats.

Using references from cemeteries, castles, churches 
and abbeys, Vic has incorporated images of his cats into 
highly detailed illustrations with accompanying lines 
from classic poetry.

Melancholic seraphic guardians,
Frozen in stone for all eternity
As if fallen under the spell
Of Medusa’s gaze.
Their souls now abide
In ebony feline forms;
They are the true ‘Dark Angels’.
